Chicago ClickinWalk 2011

I have been a member of Clickin Moms since February 2009.  I still remember the day I signed up.  My hands were sweaty.  My heart was racing.  I have always loved photography and was ready to learn more.  Little did I know that it would impact my life as much as it has.  In my time as a “clickin mom”, I have learned and I have taught.  I have supported and I have been supported.  I have laughed and I have cried.  I have been inspired.  Every. Single. Day.  And it is all because of the fabulous admins and members.  Along the way on my photography journey, I have made some amazing friends.  Many that I have never met in real life.

When I first heard of the ClickinWalk, I knew that I wanted to participate to meet other Clickin Moms.  I was fortunate to become one of the leaders for this event. It was the perfect opportunity to meet other ClickinMoms to share our passion of photography.  The day was far better than I ever could have imagined… thanks to these fabulous ClickinWalkers.

In no time at all, these online friends became real-life friends.

And it was the perfect fall day to click and walk around Chicago…

 

I’m so very, very grateful to have met a truly talented, kind-hearted group. Can’t wait to see you all again! A special thank you to my mom for carrying the leftover chocolate goodie bags while we passed them out to those who needed a smile.
